Dokkum is a fortified starfort town. These buildings are so charming with all the shutters and wall braces securing the stones together they were too hard to resist. Between showers I made it to the dock on the singel to capture them and the boats moored there. None of the boats had their masts up, which seened unusual for this time of year.
