From Ghajn Lukin ridge

Ghajn Lukin ridge in Xaghra. Malta can be seen far left in the distance with the Mediterranean Sea separating our little island of Gozo from the mainland. Xewkija village and the rotunda are a lovely sight from this perch. There is much history here as the plague hospital early 19th century and an ancient megalithic temple are a few yards behind where I stand. Largest plein air canvas for me so far 60cm x 80cm which required me to bungee it to my tripod. Oil on canvas.Normacili.con
