Painted last week inside the Citadella on a very blustery day. Just got to finishing it. The limestone in Malta and Gozo has this amazing brilliance almost iridescent characteristic that is very hard to capture. It will be part of the journey to understanding these beautiful islands. 12″x16″ oil on linen.
