On the street above Daħlet Qorrot in Qala, an almond tree blocked some of the breeze off the Mediterranean so that I could paint. These iconic boat houses are dug into the soft limestone and are quite beautiful in this bay. The land here is fossil rich and is considered a geological hot spot. 16″ x 12″ oil on linen.
