Practiced my Sherpa training while snow shoeing out at least a mile each way on the Upper Truckee Meadow to the point just before Tahoe Keys. Though I wore the snow shoes painting my toes were frosty! This spot is absolutely breath taking looking out at Lake Tahoe and the mountains in the distance with low clouds and looming weather! Bald eagles hunt from these tree tops. Painted over an older canvas. Oil on linen 12″ X 16″.
