Still life of garden camellias kept me and the flowers out of the rain before they were pummeled. This hand-blown glass vase was a bit challenging to paint. When I thought I was done with a dark background in place, I was pretty upset with the results. After sleeping on it I felt the lighter background would show the bouquet off better. I think that was the right decision but welcome any comments. Oil on canvas 24X24.
