This is a charming harbour. It is home to the Elberg botters, traditional flat bottomed wooden sailing vessels that originally sailed on the former Zuiderzee. The houses here offer a warm backdrop and especially on this day where a few fires were burning as smoke tumbled out of the narrow chimneys. Gouache 24cm x 30cm.
