Looking down from the Sonoma Caves & Vineyards of Gloria Ferrer there was still some fall color on these vines. We are so lucky to live 15 minutes from this valley and the Carneros region. The Los Carneros name dates from the 1830s, when Mexico administered this region. There were sheep and dairy farms here until the 1970s. Today Carneros has 8,000 vineyard acres and more than 20 wineries. 16″ X 12″ oil on linen.
